By Pass activation on Windows 7 2008 and 2008 R2

I did this and it seems to be working:

  1. Formatted and installed Server 2008 R2.
  2. Changed the date to 2019.
  3. Restarted and re-formatted and re-installed Server 2008 R2, so that the first date that the OS will see, is 2019.
  4. Start-> Administrative Tools-> Services
  5. Double click on Software Protection service.
  6. Changed Startup Type to: Disabled.
  7. Restarted and changed the date to 2009.
  8. Everything seems to be working fine, windows update works.
  9. Changed the date to 2018.
  10. Everything seems to be working fine. No watermark about a non-genuine version, does not ask me for activation. So, i just changed back the date to 2009.

I think this is the solution.

Hmm, here’s me hoping for instructions on how to bypass activation on Windows 10.
